Self-Realization

“This being human is a guest house.

Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all! Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably.

They may be clearing you out for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.”

Indigenous and Ancient Wisdom

If you were depressed, disheartened, or dispirited and went to shaman, medicine man, or a healer in many of the  indigenous cultures of the world they would ask you these questions:

"When in your life did you stop singing?" - when did you lose your soul, or voice of your own truth?

"When did you stop dancing?" - when did you lose connection to your body? backbone (courage), funny bone (sense of humor), wish bone (dreams and desires), hollow bone (the body that resonates with the vibration of life).

"When did you stop being enchanted with stories, and particularly your own life story?" - what are your favorite stories , what stories do you pass on to the next generation or others? Stories are healing teaching art.  Stories transmit values, tradition, beliefs, and memories.

"When did you start being uncomfortable with the sweet territory of silence?" - Silence is recognized by all the cultures of the world as the place we can connect  to the mystery for contemplation and reflection in our own solitude. Silence and Nature are soul food. Time to listen to the inherent wisdom, and the guidance within.

They also ask on daily basis:

"Is the good true and beautiful in my nature as strong as the whispers of the daemons and the monsters?" - Is my self worth as strong as my self critic? Do we feed gourmet meals to our self worth, and starve our self critic? We need to answer YES everyday to be connected to our creative fire within.

Reconstructing the True

Our organic self—our true self—is wise, calm, curious, courageous, creative, and connected to others, to nature, and to what we do. At our core, we are intrinsically healthy, perfect, and whole.

Our work is to return to this organic self.

Our belief system is shaped by core beliefs formed through domestication and conditioning, which define our sense of self in the physical world. These beliefs arise from life experiences (Samskaras), mostly from early childhood, and are often influenced by painful past events, family histories, and social or religious conditioning. They shape our state of being, our strategies, and how we respond to external events and relationships.

At times, challenges feel significant and threatening. We may feel insecure, not enough, confused, stressed, disoriented, scared, overwhelmed, or even anxious and depressed. Our stories are unique, yet strongly shaped by what we believe about ourselves and the world. Limiting core beliefs may sound like: “I’m not good enough,” “I’m not lovable,” “I can never let my guard down,” “I can’t express how I really feel,” “life is a struggle I must endure,” “I can’t trust anyone,” “my needs don’t matter.” How did these beliefs form, and how can we truly surrender and let go of what no longer serves our greater good?

We often mistake these beliefs for truth and react when triggered by external events beyond our control, with no sense of choice. But once we learn to meet ourselves with love, kindness, and compassion, we begin to experience the freedom and power of choice. We can then reconstruct our organic self, heal across generations and create a new state of being aligned with our true self.

This alignment brings greater joy, fulfillment, love, compassion, pleasure, connection, intimacy, peace, power, and sovereignty—the freedom to be who we truly are—in our lives and relationships. We call this state of being Embodied Self Realization.

True Essence of  Freedom

What if freedom is simply remembering who you were before the world told you who to be?

It is liberation from our domestication and conditioning in life; from the collective dream and the prison of borrowed beliefs, old fears, and the inner voices of judgment that have drained your energy and caused you to suffer.

Freedom is a state of profound inner peace, a way of moving through the world with integrity, fully aligned with your authentic self. When you live from this place, your relationships heal, becoming clearer and more loving because you are no longer seeing them through the lens of your wounds.

The path to this freedom is a journey of unconditional self-acceptance, an integration of your light and shadows that makes you whole. It is about stalking the limiting agreements you made with yourself and replacing them with truth. By nurturing your own heart and silencing the inner critic, you reclaim your innate self-worth, find safety within, and build an unshakeable sanctuary within. You realize that love is the power that dissolves all fear. ❤️

You will learn to let go of the stories that have held you back, connecting the wisdom of your heart to the creative fire in your soul. This reclaimed energy is your personal power. It allows for deep healing and invites a life of true abundance—an abundance of love, peace, and energy that overflows from within, nourishing all that you do.

This is the essence of spiritual freedom: to express your true essence, and from that authentic place, to consciously choose the masks you wear in the world rather than letting them wear you. It is to use your voice with integrity and to hold all parts of yourself with compassion. In this state of wholeness, you are no longer a character in someone else's story. You become the artist of your own life.

"Come, seek

for seeking is the foundation of fortune:
every success depends upon focusing the heart.
Unconcerned with the business of the world,
keep saying with all your soul, “Ku, ku,” like the dove…

Even though you’re not equipped,
keep searching…

Whoever you see engaged in search,
become their friend and cast your head in front of them,
for choosing to be a neighbor of seekers,
you become one yourself…

Day and night you are a traveler in a ship.
You are under the protection of a life-giving spirit…

Step aboard the ship and set sail,
like the soul going towards the soul’s Beloved.
Without hands or feet, travel toward Timelessness
just as spirits flee from non-existence.

…By God, don’t linger
in any spiritual benefit you have gained,
but yearn for more like one suffering from illness
whose thirst for water is never quenched…

Leave the seat of honor behind:
the Journey is your seat of honor."
